I am a film maker, director and journalist based in Oxford, UK. I am lucky enough to travel around the world making films for a variety of clients, including the BBC, Al Jazeera, Channel 4 News, UNHCR, the ICRC, MSF and many others.

From May 2013 until February 2015 I was the South East Asia TV correspondent for Agence France Presse. During this time I covered the coup in Thailand, the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine, as the well as the football World Cup in Brazil.

Before moving to Bangkok I spent three years in Nairobi, covering the biggest news stories across Africa, from the wars in Congo and Somalia, to the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea. Although I was working mainly for AFP, I also reported live for Sky News, France 24, CBC and numerous other radio stations. Alongside these, I worked for Channel 4 News and made films for various NGOs, including Action Aid's television commercials in Haiti, Myanmar and Afghanistan.

My career started as a radio and TV presenter in Oxford, before I moved to London to work as a presenter and video journalist for the Press Association. After a season presenting a Norwegian football show, I joined ITN as an assistant news editor for ITV news, and then joined the More4 and Channel 4 news team as a self-shooting producer/director.
